Admission Procedure

Classroom Courses

2-Year Classroom Course

Vidyamandir Admission Test: Students wanting to enrol in our regular 2-Year classroom course will need to first appear in the Vidyamandir Admission Test on 5th April, 2010. Qualified students will be called for counselling and faculty interaction.

Application Forms: Application Forms for the Admission Test are available at all centres of IIT Study Circle and Vidyamandir Classes. They are also available through select branches of Axis Bank. Click here for details of the Axis Bank Branches.

Submission of Application Form: The filled up application form needs to be sent to the following address, to reach us latest by 31st March, 2010:

Admission Test Centres: Delhi, Ghaziabad, Bhilai, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Bokaro, Chandigarh, Cuttack, Dehradun, Faridabad, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kanpur, Karnal, Kota, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Patiala, Patna, Ranchi, Rourkela.

Admission Test Results: Results for the test will be declared on the 11th of April, 2010. The results will be available at http://www.iitstudycircle.org / http://www.vidyamandir.com.

Admission Test Format and Syllabus: The Admission Test paper will be of 3 hours duration, containing Objective Type questions in Mathematics from the syllabus given below.

Admission Test Syllabus
Algebra Exponents of Real Numbers, Rationalization, Algebric Identities, Factorization of Polynomials, Remainder and Factor Theorem, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage and its application, Profit and Loss, Work and Time, Speed, Distance and Time, Linear Equations in 2 and 3 variables, Quadratic Equations, Rational Expressions, Arithmetic Progressions.
Geometry Lines and Angles, Triangles and its Angles, Congruent Triangles, Quadrilaterals, Area of Parallelograms and Triangles, Similar Triangles, Circle, Tangents to a Circle.
Mensuration Area of Plane Figures(Triangles, quadrilaterals, circle, sector and segment of a circle), surface area and Volume(Cubes, cuboids, spheres, hemispheres, right circular cylinders, cones, frustum of cone).
Trigonometry Trigonometric Identities, Trigonometric Ratios, Complimentary Angles, Heights and Distances.
Statistics Mean, Median, Mode, Data-interpretation of various graphs.
Analytical and Logical Reasoning

1-Year Classroom Course (12-Studying)
(For students moving from XIth to XIIth)

Admission Test: Students wanting to enrol in our regular 1-Year classroom course will need to first appear in the Admission Test conducted by IIT Study Circle. Contact our centres for the admission test date.

Admission Test Centers: The Admission Test will be conducted at our centers in the following cities: Delhi, Chandigarh, Ranchi, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Faridabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Kota.

Admission Test Format and Syllabus: The Admission Test paper will be of 3 hours duration, containing Objective Type questions in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from Class XI syllabus.

Application Forms: Application Forms for the Admission Test are available at all centres of IIT Study Circle.

Submission of Application Form: Submit the filled up application form at any of our classroom centres or mail them to:

Correspondence Courses

You can register for our correspondence courses through any of the following three modes.

Online: Students can enrol and purchase the Correspondence courses online by clicking here.

IITSC Centers: Alternatively students can enrol for the course by visiting any of our Centers. Students will need to make the necessary payment through a Payorder/Demand Draft in favour of Vidyamandir IITSC Correspondence A/c, payable at the city where registration is being done.

Postal Application: Students can also download the application form by clicking here and write to us directly at the following address:
