Our Leadership Team

Mita Brahma

Mita Brahma has a Master’s in Physics, and an MBA in Systems and Finance from IIT Delhi.

Her first job was with the State Bank of India, where she was responsible for overall branch administration and business areas. She took a break from Corporate schedules for five years, and worked in the area of Physics teaching, coaching several students successfully for the IIT-JEE. Returning to Corporate life with Nucleus Software, she headed the Human Resources function of the company, and undertook several initiatives for process improvements, process automation and organizational development. Ms Brahma then worked with Grow Talent, a Strategic HR consulting company, where she consulted in the areas of Change Management, Business Strategy, Organizational Design, Knowledge Management, Assessment, Executive Coaching, and Team Effectiveness.

At New Horizons, Mita leads the Education teams of IIT Study Circle – a business unit focussed on IIT JEE coaching, and Knowledge Horizon – a business unit focussed on the K-12 sector.

Mrityunjay Narayanan

Mrityunjay Narayanan is a pioneer in the IIT JEE industry. Mrityunjay started teaching Physics courses for IIT-JEE aspirants in 1988, soon after his post graduation, creating himself the courseware and designing courses for IIT-JEE. He founded and was the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Quest Educational Services Ltd., creating one of the most popular brands in IIT-JEE training, IIT Study Circle.

Mrityunjay has also worked with the senior management team of various organizations like Sri Chaitanya IIT-JEE Academy, Narayana Group of Institutions, Edurite Technologies and Tutor Vista.

He brings with him over 24 years of senior management experience in the field of smart learning, and IITJEE coaching. Currently, he heads the business for the IIT Study Circle unit.

Atul Tandon

Atul Tandon completed his graduation in commerce from the Sriram College of Commerce, and MBA in Finance from Faculty of Management Sciences, Delhi. He is also an ICWA and brings with him over 22 years of experience. He has worked with the Indorama group in Thailand, and the Texmaco group of Thailand in senior management positions.

Prior to the above, he worked with the Daewoo Motors and with DCM Toyota. He is currently the Chief Financial Officer for IIT Study Circle.

Lalit Gupta

Lalit Gupta completed his B Tech and M Tech from IIT Delhi in 1992 and 1994 respectively. As a student at IIT, he has coached other prospective IITians in Science and Maths.

After passing out of IIT, Lalit worked as a software professional with Citicorp Overseas Software Ltd., and HCL Technologies Ltd. He was the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer for Procurez Solutions, an internet and software solutions Company started with US venture capital collaboration. Lalit has also consulted independently in technology areas with organizations like CRISIL.

At present, he looks after Academics, Operations and R&D at IIT Study Circle, bringing a strong Quality and Customer focus to its Operations.

Annu Kundlu

Annu Kundlu has done his B.A.(Honours) from Patna University and brings over 19 years of experience in the field of IT and IITJEE Training.

He has worked with organizations like Brilliants, STG International heading their centres and looking after its marketing and business development. He has worked for more than 7 years with FIITJEE looking after Marketing and Admissions. Currently he looks after Marketing, Operations and Administration.


Our Faculty

PHYSICS

Dr Y. S. Parmar completed his MSc five years integrated program in Physics as well as Phd in Physics from IIT Kanpur. He has more than fifteen years’ experience in the field of IITJEE coaching including Narayana Institute, and Career Launcher.

P. Kamarasu is a post graduate in Physics, and has spent more than seventeen years in the field of Physics teaching. Four of these years were spent at Narayana, and two years at Sri Chaitanya. He has also worked for three years earlier at IIT Study Circle.

Hemant Kumar completed his B. Tech from IIT Kharagpur, and worked in the manufacturing sector for about fifteen years before he returned to his passion area of teaching. He has worked with FIITJEE for five years, and also with Brilliant, before joining the team in IIT Study Circle.

Daljeet Singh completed his B. Tech from IIT BHU. He has been in the field of IITJEE coaching since then. Some of his previous experiences are with Sri Chaitanya Academy where he spent about five years, also with Erose Educational Infotech where he worked for more than a year.

Satwik Das did his integrated M.Sc. from IIT Kharagpur. He has more than 4 years of experience teaching students for the IITJEE. He has earlier taught with institutes like Career Launcher.

Shekhar Kumar Singh MSC/UGC NET,He has around 14 years of experience. Prior to this he was associated with Narayana IIT Academy.

Rakesh Choudhary has done his M.Sc. in Physics from Magadh University and Mechanical Engineering from the Insititution of Engineers. He has been teaching Physics for IITJEE for more than 13 years and has experience teaching with institutions like Sri Chaitanya IIT Academy and Career Point

Deepak Pant has more than 10 years of experience in teaching Physics for the IITJEE. He has teaching experience with institutions like Resonance and Sri Chaitanya IIT Academy.

G. Anil Kumar has done his M.Sc. in Physics from IIT Chennai and has more than 7 years of teaching experience in the field of IITJEE. He has taught at institutes like Sri Chaitanya.

Manoj Dwarpudi has done his Post Graduation in Physics from Pondicherry Central University and has more than 7 years of experience teaching Physics for the IITJEE. He has taught at institutes like Narayana and Career Point.

Vivek Kumar Srivasatava completed his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Roorkee. Previously He has been working as a Physics faculty in Career Launcher for about six years.

Gaurav Singhal completed his B.Tech from IIT Kanpur had been working with a software company before.

CHEMISTRY

Seema Chaudhary completed her MSc in Chemistry, and is also UGC-NET qualified. She has been coaching for the IITJEE for more than sixteen years. She has been a senior professor in Aakash Institute where she worked for about three years, and also FIITJEE where she worked for another three years. Seema was the senior faculty in Chemistry at these organizations, and also headed the Training function.

Vakul Goswami completed his B Tech from IIT Kanpur, and has been in the field of IITJEE coaching since then. He ran his own coaching classes for some time, and also worked with Bansal Classes, Jaipur, and Resonance, Kota. He has about eighteen years’ of experience in this field.

Gaurav Sharma has done his B.Tech. and M.Tech. from IIT Delhi from the department of Computer Science and Engineering. He has more than 7 years of experience in teaching Chemistry to students preparing for IITJEE. He has earlier taught in institutes like Brilliant Tutorials.

Balbir Lal has done his B.Tech from IIT Kanpur and has more than 7 years of teaching experience in the field of IITJEE.

Asha Singh completed her MSc in Chemistry from IIT Roorkee. She has been teaching Chemistry for IITJEE for over 6 years and has experience teaching with institutions like Career Launcher and FIIT JEE.

Krishna Kant Pandey has done his PG Diploma in Chemical Sales and marketing Management and Msc from Jiwaji University, Gwalior. He has been teaching Chemistry for IITJEE for over 9 years and previously teaching with Career Launcher.

Ajay Kishor Tripathi has done his B.Tech from HBTI Kanpur. He has been teaching Chemistry for IITJEE for over 9 years and has taught with institutes like Krishnamurthy IIT Academy and Narayana IIT Academy.

MATHEMATICS

Anchal Das completed his MSc in Applied Maths from REC Rourkela, and has been in the field of IIT JEE Coaching since. Apart from working with Narayana IIT Academy for five years, he also ran his own coaching academy successfully for more than eleven years.

Sanjiv Vij completed an M. Phil in Mathematics and had been teaching in the Delhi University for five years, before joining IIT Study Circle where he taught for nine years. He was also with the Manav Rachna Educational Institute for five years, where he set up their coaching division before joining New Horizons.

S. Sudheer Kumar completed his MSc in Mathematics from Bharathidasan University. He has worked as a Mathematics faculty in Narayana College for about three years, and also with the Sri Chaitanya College for more than five years.

Anurag Goyal has done his B.Sc.(Honours) and MCA from the Delhi University. He has more than 7 years of experience in teaching students for the IITJEE. He has earlier taught at institutes like the Career Launcher.

Sujit Kumar has more than 11 years of experience in teaching students for the IITJEE. He has earlier taught at institutes like the Sri Chaitanya IIT Academy and Narayana IIT Academy.

Chittranjoy Roy M.Phil from Delhi University. Having 20 yrs of experience, taught in Bansal, Narayanan Academy,toppers tutorials.

R. Easwaran has graduated in the area of operations research and analysis from Delhi. He has more than 9 years of teaching experience, having worked as a Senior Lecturer at Srichaitanya IIT Academy. He has worked as the Head of Department IIT mathematics at Vikas Institute, Vishakhapatanam. He has taught in various DPS branches including Mathura Road, Noida, Faridabad, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Bulandshehar. He has also conducted IITJEE classes at Sanskriti, New Delhi.

Pawan Kumar Thakur has done his M.Sc. in Mathematics from Agra University. He has more than 7 years of teaching experience and has taught at institutes like Sri Chaitanya IIT Academy.

Puneet Garg has done his B.Tech from IIT Delhi and PGDM from IIM Lucknow. He has more than 8 years of experience. Prior to this he was associated with IMS Learning Resources Pvt. Ltd. & T.I.M.E.

Tapas Yogi has done his engineering from NIT, Jamshedpur and has nearly 9 years of experience in teaching for iitjee. He has earlier worked with PIE Education, Narayana IIT Academy and Sri Chaitanya IIT Academy

Dr. S.L. Saini has done his Ph. D in Mathematics from Magadh University. He has been teaching Mathematics for IITJEE for 10 years and has experience teaching with institutions like Rao IIT Academy, Naryana IIT Academy, Sri Chaitanya IIT Academy and Pie Education.

Alok Kumar Jha completed his Msc in Mathematics from Bhagalpur University. He has been teaching Mathematics for IITJEE for 10 years and has experience teaching with Career Launcher and Paragon Classes.

Jeetendra Dixit is a B.Tech from IIT Kanpur. Previously he has been teaching Mathematics with FIIT JEE.
